This is a Permanent Full-Time position within the Corporate Services department at The Royal Children's Hospital. As the Fleet Officer, you will be responsible for the management of all RCH fleet vehicles and the efficient operation and use of fleet cars.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of fleet management, including compliance, infringements process, record keeping, and processing of all related Car Fleet invoicing.
- Actively manage safety issues relating to fleet and parking to ensure timely corrective action is taken.
- Book vehicle corrective repairs on an as-needs basis, arrange vehicle pick up and drop off, and send booking advice to vehicle holders.
- Inspect returned pool car documentation and update log sheets.
- Manage the process of purchase, lease, and maintenance of fleet vehicles, coordinate cleaning of vehicles.
- Monitor and track vehicle mileage and implement required actions to allow for effective Fleet Utilisation.
- Manage vehicle insurance claims ensuring the relative insurance documents are completed and submitted.
- Assist with customer queries and requests, such as pool car availability and special needs etc.
- Previous experience and current knowledge of Car Fleet Management.
- Previous experience and knowledge of basic financial accounting.
- Previous experience within procurement management or contractor management.
- Experience in a Private Public Partnership Hospital.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a strong business relationship with stakeholders.
