Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and services.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, mechanical services, refurbishment of existing equipment, and installation of new machinery. Your technical expertise will enable you to accurately diagnose machine faults, provide comprehensive support to fabricators, and collaborate with colleagues to develop equipment project quotations and detailed project planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document customers' equipment service requirements, considering preventative maintenance, safety, and end-of-life considerations
  • Oversee and inspect equipment activities to ensure alignment with the planned schedule and quality standards
  • Accurately diagnose and document the root cause of machine faults, recommending repairs and specifying required parts and service time
  • Provide technical support to fabricators, offering innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop equipment project quotations and detailed project planning
  • Execute and/or supervise equipment installation projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of truss manufacturing equipment and associated automation software
  • Assist customers in maximizing production output through training in equipment software and techniques
  • Facilitate training programs on equipment software and production techniques as per the planned schedule
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for innovation in equipment services. You should have relevant engineering/trade/software qualifications, demonstrated experience in a similar role, excellent computer skills, and strong ability to network and present complex information clearly.
