
Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. Our therapy centre provides comprehensive services for children with neurological disorders.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop individualised therapy programs incorporating innovative therapies such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Developmental Feeding services, NeuroSuit Therapy, CMI/DMI/Medek Therapy, and SpiderCage therapy.
- Work collaboratively with motivated families and kids to build strong relationships and provide consistent support.
- Gain broad exposure to diverse cases, often rare and complex, allowing for continuous learning and skill development.
- Evaluate opportunities for career advancement within our clinics in Australia and overseas.
- Pursue professional growth through mentoring, ongoing training, and continuing education programs.
- A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Strong clinical experience in paediatric settings, preferably with exposure to children with disabilities.
- Current registration with AHPRA, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Good physical health and fitness to engage with children and perform tasks that require standing/sitting for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with clients and medical professionals.
- Professional empathy to develop rapport with clients and their families.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues to advance client needs.
- A 38-hour working week includes Monday to Friday with built-in time for documentation and professional development.
- No travel requirements, working at a state-of-the-art centre with tram stops nearby and free parking available.
- An administration team handles scheduling, paperwork, and billing, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional therapy services.
