Key Leadership Role in Resuscitation Training

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key leadership role, the successful candidate will provide resuscitation training across multiple sites with a focus on Basic Life Support (BLS).

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse educator who has strong clinical and educational expertise, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, advanced life support certification, and experience in delivering education and training programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality resuscitation training programs that meet organisational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop innovative solutions
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development activities to optimise patient experiences and outcomes
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations of training programs to ensure quality and effectiveness
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in clinical education, leadership, and high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (essential)
  • Advanced life support certification (desirable)
  • Experience in the delivery of interdisciplinary education and training
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
  • A strong commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High level of IT/digital literacy
