Clinical Nurse Educator - ED Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Emergency Department team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation to graduate nurses and students.

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care through dissemination of current best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement staff training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training and eLearning components.
About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position (0.4 FTE) that offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with nurturing and developing others.

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be working closely with a close-knit and hardworking team to promote high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs for graduate nurses and students.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of nursing practice.
  • Evaluate and improve education programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate certificate in emergency department nursing or a related field.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Certificate IV in workplace assessment and training.
  • Experience as an educator in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
