Lindsay Park Racing is currently seeking highly experienced & capable staff to fill various positions.

Below are the key roles and responsibilities associated with each position:

Horse Trainer/Rider

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in riding 8-10 horses per morning, as well as training pace/timed work and educating young horses through barriers. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Riding and training thoroughbred racehorses
  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance horse performance
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for horses and staff
Horse Trainer/Foreperson

This role involves educating young horses on the ground, as well as supervising a team and managing horse care responsibilities. Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing
  • Able to train and educate young horses
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Youth Horse Trainer/Rider

This entry-level position involves assisting in the care and training of young horses, as well as developing skills in horsemanship and communication. Required qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 3 years full-time professional experience in the role, or 2 years full-time experience and a relevant qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing
  • Ability to work in a team and independently

Fully functional canteen and accommodation available, together with assistance in transition to the appropriate applicants at our Euroa property.

We require reliable workers with excellent horsemanship skills who can demonstrate their ability to work safely and efficiently.

Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Schedule: Morning shift
