We are seeking an experienced horse person to fill a full-time position as a Stud Hand at our property located in the picturesque Mornington Peninsula area of Victoria.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily stud tasks such as feeding and checking horses, maintaining paddocks and stables, and assisting with horse movements.

They will also be required to administer treatments including drenching and vaccinations under the supervision of the Veterinarian and Farm Manager. Additionally, they may be asked to bandage horses if necessary and assist with veterinary procedures.

The successful applicant will have experience working in the Thoroughbred industry and possess a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle. They will also need to have the ability to administer treatments and bandages, recognize and respond to horse illness and injury, and demonstrate clear communication skills and attention to detail.

In return for their hard work and dedication, the successful applicant can expect a remuneration package that reflects their level of experience.
