Job Role Summary

The primary objective of this role is to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, transporting pallets and produce bins within the packing facility.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to meeting our business goals by providing exceptional service and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading pallets and other items from transport trailers and trucks in a safe and organized manner.
  • Transferring raw and packed products as directed by supervisor, adhering to established protocols.
  • Preparing products for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Conducting daily safety inspections on forklifts to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines, reporting any incidents or hazards identified.
  • Assisting with other tasks in the packing facility as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid driver's license, demonstrating reliable transportation options.
  • Demonstrated forklift experience, showcasing proficiency and efficiency.
  • A strong safety culture, prioritizing well-being and preventing accidents.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in work performance.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
  • Availability to work Saturdays, showcasing flexibility and commitment to the role.
