We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Healthscope. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Allied Health team to provide high-quality clinical care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support members of the Allied Health team to provide high-standard clinical care to patients and families.
- Work under the direct supervision of Physiotherapists to help clients achieve their goals.
- Adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the department.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality improvement and occupational health and safety.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- Authority to work in Australia.
- Ability to work across both sites of Knox Private Hospital and Ringwood Private Hospital.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and complete activities.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Knowledge of physiotherapy in an acute hospital setting.
- Experience working with or providing care to people in acute healthcare settings.
