As a Technical Accounting Manager at Enterprise, you will play a critical role in performing the initial review of quarterly financial statements, year-end audits, and tax returns within the Pre-Stabilized portfolio. You will also independently review and provide secondary reviews of cost certifications reports and Form 8609s, and provide technical assistance internally and externally to resolving issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review partnership tax returns, cost certifications, Form 8609s, and audits.
  • Review tax capital accounts, including performing 704(b) analyses and problem resolution.
  • Process, analyze, and adjust lower-tier financial data on a quarterly basis.
  • Interface with General Partners and their Accountants on eligible basis, Housing Credit calculations, tax, and audit issues.
  • Provide annual audit and tax return training.
  • Conduct supervisory reviews of year-end audits, tax returns, cost certification, and Form 8609s.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 6 years of accounting and tax experience, preferably in public accounting or real estate tax.
  • Knowledge of real estate development terminology and financial analysis.
  • Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, with a focus on pre-stabilization properties.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be initiative-taking and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated habit of accuracy and reliability.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
  • Proven ability to work across teams.
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
