Our Business and Tax Advisory team supports clients in managing their compliance and planning for continued business success and growth. We provide decisive delivery of new ways of thinking, big-picture perspectives and acute insights that help clients make informed decisions.

Your Opportunity

We are now looking to recruit Managers to join our Business & Tax Advisory team in Townsville. As a Manager, you will play a key role across the full scope of client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.

  • Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio, including small to medium sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and small listed entities.
  • Further develop your technical expertise working across services, including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients.
  • Be a strategic advisor to your clients, providing proactive advice and working alongside them to achieve their business goals.
  • Develop into a mentor to assist other less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development.

Your Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Experience in tax, accounting or business services at the Manager (or equivalent) level.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to keep up to date with changes to taxation law and accounting standards.
  • Solid tax and accounting technical / systems capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • A client centric approach and ability to understand your clients' business.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
