About the Role

Datacom is seeking a skilled Endpoint Engineering Specialist to join their team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customers' endpoint environments, designing and implementing best practices, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customers' endpoint environments and provide timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues.
  • Design and implement best practices for endpoint management and security.
  • Contribute to the winning culture of a high-performing team and operate in a collaborative environment.
  • Identify service improvements, efficiencies, and cost reductions for Datacom customers.
  • Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider.
  • 3 years' experience in a similar SOE Engineer role.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, networking, and TCP/IP.
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory, DHP, DNS, certificate services, and Enterprise applications.
  • Exceptional skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune, and Virtual Desktops.

What You Will Bring:

  • Exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable with rapid change and available to travel to Datacom, customer sites, and conferences when required.
