**About the Role**
This Business Development Manager position involves working closely with the sales team, product managers, and management to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing business relationships and developing new sales opportunities through strategic partnerships and effective communication.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinating site inspections and field services to develop customized solutions for clients
- Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitoring outcomes and identifying areas for improvement
- Providing daily updates on outstanding sales orders and ensuring accurate information in the system
- Reviewing site requirements and processes with sales and service teams to identify opportunities for improvement
- Adhering to strict safe working and fatigue management practices
- Performing job-specific filing, storage, and emailing tasks
- Reporting site visit details and quotes to the CRM
**Requirements**

**Experience**
Ideal candidates will have:
- Suitable sales skills, project management, and time management experience
- Hands-on experience in a field sales environment, particularly in the mining sector
- Experience selling solutions to customers’ problems
- Front-line supervision skills
- Ability to evaluate information quickly and identify key issues
- Ability to maintain knowledge of the latest developments in the sales and mining industries
- Strong Office 365, Excel, and Teams skills
- JDEdwards or other ERP (SAP) experience is desirable
