As a Disability Employment Consultant, you play a vital role in empowering individuals with injuries, illnesses or disabilities to achieve their career goals. You will be based at our site in Margate, QLD. Our goal is to support people in employment, independence and wellbeing.

Individuals with backgrounds in customer service, such as retail, call centres, hospitality, consulting, business development and administration, are well-suited for this position. Your commitment to helping people and meeting business objectives makes you a strong fit.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Help job seekers identify their skills and secure employment
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services
  • Create and implement a joint job plan with the job seeker to support a clear pathway to employment
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations

 

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingsness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
