Job Description:

As a senior mental health clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals in crisis. The role requires experienced professionals to provide high-quality clinical assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for individuals experiencing crises.
  • Apply recovery-oriented approaches in community settings, focusing on individual strengths and needs.
  • Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes within the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and exercise professional judgment in complex situations.
Selection Criteria:
  • Social work, occupational therapy qualifications, or a psychology degree with relevant registration or authority to practice as a registered nurse.
  • Substantial experience in suicide prevention and mental health interventions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Lived experience of suicidal thoughts or caring for someone who has been suicidal.
  • Able to initiate, lead, and complete quality improvement projects and share results effectively.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and health information technology.
