Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering timely mental health assessments and interventions for adults in crisis.
This role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
The ideal candidate will have experience in acute or community mental health settings, as well as strong crisis assessment and intervention skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and provide evidence-based interventions
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Provide trauma-informed therapeutic support to individuals in crisis
- Relevant qualifications as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Counsellor (AHPRA/AASW registration applicable)
- Experience working in acute or community mental health settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
You will be working in a supportive and dynamic team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in drug and alcohol nursing, previous private mental health hospital experience, and confidence in patient advocacy and communicating risks.
