Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the delivery of high-quality patient care and improve coordination, care, and management of complex patients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in ambulance service operations, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of service delivery and operational programs.

The successful applicant will provide strategic leadership and direction to our Specialist Operations and Coordination division, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and achievement of key performance indicators. They will also be responsible for providing reliable senior-level strategic and operational advice to inform divisional and organisational goals, risk mitigation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and strategic senior leader with extensive healthcare experience at the senior level. Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical discipline (medicine, paramedicine or similar)
  • Extensive senior experience in ambulance service operations
  • Strong knowledge and experience of statewide telecommunications technology and communications
  • Proven expertise in advancing clinical knowledge through problem solving and systems thinking
  • A high level of communication with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
