Child Protection Social Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Child Protection Social Worker to provide assessments and complex care planning for oncology patients with a large elderly population. The role involves close collaboration with medical teams to deliver patient-centered care in a supportive capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychosocial assessments for oncology inpatients
  • Lead complex discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide support to patients, families, and carers

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Current or eligible AASW registration
  • Strong skills in discharge planning and assessments
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (including booster)
