The Insurance Professional Indemnity Specialist role involves working on litigation matters in Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Medical Negligence. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team in Sydney and contribute to protecting clients' interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • File management and meeting deadlines are essential skills for this position
  • Reviewing evidence and preparing advices on indemnity, liability and quantum is a critical aspect of the job
  • Effective communication with clients in writing and verbally is vital
  • Identifying issues, briefing experts and analysing opinion requires strong analytical skills
  • Preparing court documents, including statements of evidence is a key responsibility
  • Drafting correspondence and communicating with other practitioners is necessary
  • Preparing for, managing online processes and appearing in Court requires organisation and time management skills
  • Briefing and liaising with counsel is an important aspect of the role
  • Staying updated on industry regulations, case law and emerging trends in professional indemnity and medical negligence law is essential
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in professional indemnity and/or medical negligence
  • A proven track record of successfully handling professional indemnity cases and achieving favourable outcomes for clients
  • Exceptional analytical, research and problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely is essential
  • Experience in managing a high case load is necessary
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required
  • A client-service focus is essential
