The team

You will be joining a high-performing and supportive insurance litigation team, led by experienced partners with extensive expertise in professional indemnity and broader liability claims. The team is known for handling complex and sensitive matters, providing clear and commercially focused advice to a range of clients.

The role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Solicitor (2–4 PQE) to join the Sydney professional indemnity practice. In this role, you will:

  • Advise on professional indemnity and liability claims, including disciplinary proceedings and property damage matters
  • Conduct legal research, draft advice, and manage case preparation
  • Work closely with clients to understand their operations and deliver practical, commercial solutions
  • Manage a busy caseload while contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–4 years' post-admission experience, with a background in insurance litigation or professional indemnity
  • Strong drafting, research and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents
  • A proactive, client-focused approach and strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
