Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the southern region of South Australia. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers, actively seeking out new sales opportunities, and growing the market share in this region across all product groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with existing customers within the territory
  • Proactively prospect for new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and networking activities
  • Participate in general marketing and trade shows to promote Hitachi's products
  • Ensure the CRM system is up to date with all activities performed within the region
  • Meet market share expectations and other KPIs provided by Management
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's license
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated sales experience in a similar position or industry
  • Excellent cold-calling and telephone skills, with a strong belief in regular prospecting and meeting sales targets
  • Experience in operating and maintaining a CRM system
  • Confident, courteous, professional, and ethical communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
