About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will report to our Mining Manager and be accountable for providing sales engineering and administration capacity to the mining team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing tenders and quotes to meet customer needs
  • Collaborating with the sales team to ensure accurate machine specifications
  • Providing selection options using Caterpillar programs
  • Preparing customer specification sheets and creating assembly manuals, job setup, and delivery papers
  • Offering project support for machine build-up and post-sales cost analysis

About You

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can work collaboratively and drive outstanding results. You will need to possess strong financial management skills, be customer-focused, and able to effectively communicate technical information to various audiences.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Commerce, Business, or Engineering
  • Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Significant experience in the Mining and Construction industries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Analytical skills with research ability and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
