
Natural Catastrophe Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Natural Catastrophe Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk consulting team, you will play a vital role in identifying and prioritizing risks for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in insurance, risk engineering, civil engineering/construction or natural catastrophes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enhancing the development of our property and natural catastrophe book of business through proactive engagement with prospective and active clients.
- Conducting desktop and onsite reviews of property and natural catastrophe exposures for our insured and non-insured clients.
- Developing and enhancing existing tools and processes, increasing automation and improving reliability.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest knowledge and research on natural catastrophes.
Additional desired skills and abilities include working knowledge of catastrophe models, programming skills in R, Python or equivalent, and spatial data visualization expertise.
