Job Description:

As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include managing general building operations and maintenance, relocating furniture and equipment, managing contractors on campus, and maintaining relevant documents and records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers to identify needs and agree on the scope of works to be undertaken
  • Establish realistic timeframes for completion of jobs and provide feedback to stakeholders
  • Ensure works are completed within budget
  • Supervise contracts as needed, to ensure works are completed to required standard
  • Complete all administration, recording and reporting associated with work undertaken
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in facilities management or related environment
  • Possession of a 'C' class vehicle drivers' licence
  • Basic maintenance and technical abilities
  • Ability to successfully work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills including the ability to work with limited resources
