About this position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key player in designing and delivering capability programs for school support and corporate staff.

As a Principal Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting management of capability programs, including procurement, project milestones, deliverables, and coordination across multiple cohorts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing resources and materials associated with capability programs.
  • Providing high-quality advice, briefs, submissions, papers, and reports to the Capability Branch and Schools and Student Support Division.
  • Leading and maintaining liaison, communication, and coordination with key stakeholders to develop coordinated implementation strategies to achieve required outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the vision and strategic directions of our organisation.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills and ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external high-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, bringing high-level skills in problem-solving, prioritisation, and managing competing demands in a timely manner.
  • Enjoyment working and collaborating with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact.
