Job Overview

The Senior Automotive Operations Manager is a key position responsible for leading the service department of a retail store. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, overseeing vehicle inspections, and making comprehensive recommendations to customers.

This individual will lead a team of technicians in maintaining high-quality service standards, ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly inspected and repaired efficiently. The successful candidate must have strong leadership skills and be able to train and manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up with customers on services requested.
  • Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations to customers.
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians to maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Supervise the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks.
  • Maintain inventory counts and ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a store or service manager in the automotive industry.
  • General automotive knowledge and strong leadership ability.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
