Automotive Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Manager to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of a Store Manager and a General Service Technician, requiring exceptional customer service skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of automotive knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service while listening to and consulting customers
  • Follow up with customers on services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
  • Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
  • Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
  • Lead, manage, and train team members while keeping in tune with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
  • Supervise up to ten employees
  • Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks
  • Maintain inventory counts
  • Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic technician jobs

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience (not required)
  • General automotive knowledge
  • Excellent customer service disposition
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Team building skills
  • Ability to follow directions & process
  • Ability to use computers & software
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license
