Position Overview
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Recognize, assess, and cultivate partnerships with essential suppliers. Negotiate agreements and ensure that suppliers fulfill quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Cost Efficiency: Examine market dynamics and supplier pricing to uncover opportunities for cost reduction. Execute strategies aimed at achieving substantial savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate and alleviate risks linked to the supply chain, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage closely with internal teams, including Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to comprehend procurement requirements and facilitate the smooth integration of new suppliers.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage the development and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and implement leading practices in procurement operations, promoting efficiency and effectiveness throughout the category.
  • Adaptability to Change: The organization is set to embark on various change initiatives in the upcoming year, thus an adaptable approach to change will be highly valued.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years dedicated to direct procurement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 is highly advantageous.
