We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement function and driving innovation in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve significant reductions without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, ensuring continuity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, to understand procurement needs and ensure seamless integration of new suppliers.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract development and management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices in procurement processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the category.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with the business to drive change initiatives and implement agile approaches to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years focused on direct procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Skilled in Microsoft D365, a significant advantage.
