Position Overview

  • Supplier Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with essential suppliers. Negotiate agreements and ensure that suppliers adhere to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Cost Efficiency: Evaluate market dynamics and supplier pricing to uncover cost-reduction opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to achieve substantial savings while maintaining quality.
  • Supply Chain Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with internal teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to comprehend procurement requirements and facilitate the integration of new suppliers.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage the development and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Process Enhancement: Recognize and apply best practices in procurement operations, promoting efficiency and effectiveness across the category.
  • Adaptability to Change: The organization is set to embark on several transformative initiatives, thus requiring a flexible approach to change management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years in procurement, with at least 3 years dedicated to direct procurement.
  • In-depth understanding of procurement methodologies, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across various teams.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 is highly beneficial.
