We are a five-star hotel located at the 'Paris end' of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping and theatre district. Our hotel offers exceptional service and a unique experience to our guests.
We are currently seeking a Sales Development Professional to join our Sales team.
The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate and enthusiastic individual looking for the next step up in their career. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To source and establish new relationships and partnerships.
- Proactively maintain and service all current accounts.
- To increase occupancy and average room rate by active selling and account servicing.
- To sell the hotel as a total concept ensuring maximum business in all areas: rooms, conferences, and food and beverage.
- Organise and conduct hotel familiarisations and entertaining where necessary.
- Determine, in discussion with the Director of Sales & Marketing, events to be sponsored and organise representation at these events.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Passionate about Sales and looking for the next step up in their career.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of the conference and events industry.
- A track record of increasing sales and building business.
- Exemplary personal presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for hospitality service excellence, with an eye for detail towards delivering an unrivalled customer service experience.
