About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our Eastern Creek branch. This role will focus on the Vermeer Environmental product range, including Chippers, Stump Grinders, and Mini Skid Steers.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers in your territory, from southern Sydney to the south coast. You will promote whole-goods, parts, and service as a customer solution, aiming to maximize customer and company profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use Company provided systems to document, track, and record sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Promote whole-goods, parts, and service as a customer solution and build long-term relationships within your territory.
  • Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations and operate machinery at customer work sites.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Manager and relevant Departments to follow-up and expedite whole-good orders.
  • Coordinate and/or communicate with customers and applicable Departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Present a professional image of the Company in the presence of customers and community.
Requirements:
  • Prior sales experience and/or training, preferably with Company products.
  • Solid understanding of local market conditions.
  • Knowledge of resale values of particular machinery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
