Job Title: Mine Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mine Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all mine production activities and personnel within their assigned crew, ensuring compliance with the mine plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Quarry Manager by conducting area inspections and directing mining operations.
  • Coach and mentor mining leading hands and crew members to achieve objectives.
  • Manage leave requirements and conduct training gap analysis.
  • Ensure effective utilization of the mining fleet to deliver on the mining plan.
  • Complete statutory and shift-specific documentation as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a production mining environment.
  • A Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency.
  • A WA 'HR' class drivers' licence (minimum).
  • A First Aid Certificate.
  • Front line management experience (preferred).
