Mining Production Supervisor Role

The successful candidate will oversee mine production, including operations scheduling and mine planning, while coordinating personnel, equipment, and resources to achieve set targets and schedules.

  • Lead the day-to-day supervision of mine production in accordance with Work Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Oversee shift processes and provide instruction to designated team members for safe and smooth operations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety issues regarding mining equipment.
  • Manage workloads and allocate duties across the production team to deliver mine plan objectives.

Key responsibilities also include:

  • Cultivating a positive team culture centered on company values.
  • Participating in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Requirements for the Position
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a supervisor role leading a medium to large team in open-cut mine operations.
  • Completion of training courses in WHS policy, procedures, and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely within a team environment.
  • High level of communication, organisational, and planning skills.
  • A current C Class drivers' licence (HR licence preferred).
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • A valid National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months.
