About the Role: As a Policy Officer, you will play a pivotal part in shaping high-quality services and enhancing health outcomes for the people of New South Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-class health system in NSW. You will be working closely with the largest public health system in Australia to develop equity-focused policies and programs for the NSW Health system.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in policy development and service delivery within the area of disability, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its interface with the health system, and/or health and social policy more broadly.
You will have a demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on policy and program/project areas. This includes providing disability and/or health policy advice in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Analysing current and emerging policy issues at the interface of NSW Health and the NDIS;
- Undertaking policy development, evaluation activities, and projects for the Ministry of Health and related agencies to address current and emerging NDIS interface policy issues.
