Health Policy Specialist

Our organization is committed to delivering high-quality policy development and advice. We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Health Systems Strategy Division, a collaborative environment focused on problem-solving and connection.
The successful candidate will work within a small team to deliver outcomes across the portfolio, supporting the design and implementation of health policies and programs to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians.
We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills, who can provide expert advice on policy, regulatory, and legislative issues across the department.
The key duties of the position include:
- Developing and implementing strategic policy initiatives
- Providing comprehensive analysis of complex issues
- Reviewing and preparing Ministerial and Parliamentary correspondence and briefing material
- Representing the organization and building relationships with external stakeholders
