Job Title: Senior Accountant

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team at Liberty Oil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, maintaining and overseeing key financial statements, and reviewing other finance team members' working papers and reconciliations.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Oversee the month-end close process and ensure timely completion of financial statements
* Maintain and oversee key financial statements, including P, P & E, Inventories, and Others
* Review other finance team members' working papers and reconciliations
* Oversee expense and revenue allocations, including reviewing P & L's and GL coding supplier invoices for AP
* Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and ongoing variance analysis
* Assist in the preparation of auditors' files and liaise with auditors as required
* Prepare monthly BAS and other returns
* Actively participate in the Treasury process, including generating cash flow forecasts and drawing down on equipment lease facilities when required

**Requirements**

* Part way through the CA/CPA program or fully qualified with experience in a similar industry or professional services role for a minimum of 4 years
* Demonstrated ability to be part of a high-performance and fast-paced team with team management experience
* Proven track record of being self-motivated, delivering high-quality financial accounting work, and displaying a strong willingness for career growth
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn
* Strong work ethic and ability to work to deadlines
