About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Liberty Oil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, maintaining and overseeing key financial statements, and driving financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
  • Maintain and oversee key financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Drive financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of auditors' files and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Prepare monthly BAS and other returns.
  • Actively participate in the Treasury process, including generating cash flow forecasts and drawing down on equipment lease facilities when required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar industry or professional services role.
  • Part-way through the CA/CPA program or fully qualified.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work to deadlines.
