About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Charter Diligence Consulting And Recruitment. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and frameworks for financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including ARRA regulatory reports.
  • Coordinate the gathering of financial data and manage the implementation of the management information system.
  • Prepare and manage monthly profit and loss statements, as well as group budget and cashflow forecasts.
  • Lead a support team to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Manage payroll and PAYG lodgement, and collaborate with external accountants.
  • Oversee the management of the Debtor and Creditor Ledger, and conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Execute the posting of monthly journals and reconcile monthly supplier rebates.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in commercial accounting or Big 4 management, with a strong background in banking industry exposure. A CA/CPA qualification is a must, and experience with large ERP suites is preferred. You should have sound written and verbal communication skills, advanced Excel and modelling skills, and the ability to define, prioritise, and organise various tasks to meet deadlines.
