Salary RangeThe estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Campus Security Professional to join our team at the University of Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors.
Duties:- Conduct regular patrols of the campus to prevent and respond to potential security threats.
- Provide escort services to individuals as needed, ensuring their safe passage around the campus.
- Secure and unlock buildings and premises as required.
- Direct people to navigate the campus efficiently.
- Prepare reports on incidents and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including students, staff, and emergency services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Victorian Security Licence.
- Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
- A current Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR.
- A current driver's license.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
- A Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability to work a rotating roster.
