About the Role
As a security officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of students, staff, and visitors. We are seeking dedicated security relief officers to join our team at Monash Clayton University. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about maintaining safety and security on a vibrant university campus.
This role has a rotating 12-hour roster across 7 days.
Duties Include:
- Conducting foot patrols to ensure people's safety and buildings' security;
- Escorting people around the site;
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required;
- Directing and helping people to navigate around the site;
- Writing reports in response to incidents;
- Communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Certificate II in Security Operations and Security license;
- Working with children check (or willing to obtain);
- Valid First Aid and CPR;
- Full Australian working rights;
- Customer-centric approach;
- Proven ability to remain alert and focused;
- Flexibility and adaptability.
