Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity

Welcome to Ability Action Australia’s innovative Behaviour Support team. As we expand our services, we are seeking experienced and dynamic Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our multidisciplinary team.

  • Assist NDIS participants in identifying their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies utilizing a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
