Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fitter and Turner to join our maintenance team in Woleebee Creek QLD.

  • Maintain and repair plant rotating and fixed equipment with the maintenance team based in Woleebee Creek QLD.
  • Work on a key client's site providing maintenance work to ensure smooth operations.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical seals and other rotating equipment and plant systems.
  • Ensure personnel, plant, and environment safety is top priority.
  • Replace bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments and other tasks allocated by supervisor.
  • Communicate hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
  • Complete all required documentation to completed tasks.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience with pumps, mixers, mechanical seals and other rotating equipment is essential.
  • Flexible and adaptable as the business requires, able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate: Intermediate level using MS office and CMMS.
  • Knowledge of mechanical seals and condition monitoring advantageous.
