The role involves maintaining and repairing plant rotating and fixed equipment with the maintenance team based in Woleebee Creek QLD.

We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will report to the supervisor while working on site providing maintenance work to ensure that our organisation remains the supplier of choice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical seals and other rotating equipment and plant systems.
  • Safety is top priority and responsibility.
  • Replace bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments and other tasks allocated by supervisor.
  • Communicate hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
  • Complete all required corresponding documentation to completed tasks.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
  • Experience with pumps, mixers, mechanical seals and other rotating equipment is important, including pipe and static equipment system maintenance.
  • Flexible and adaptable as the business requires, able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate: Intermediate level using MS office and CMMS.
  • Knowledge of mechanical seals and condition monitoring advantageous.
