Perth Geosciences Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our geosciences efforts in Perth, managing and growing a team of experts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology, with experience in a consulting environment.
- Actively promote a culture of safety and zero harm within the organization.
- Demonstrate effective leadership and people management skills, including teamwork, communication, coaching, mentoring, and staff development.
- Catalyze the growth of our Australia West Geosciences Practice through identifying and converting market opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, provide technical mentorship and stewardship, and support project delivery through oversight and adherence to corporate standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in geotechnics and/or engineering geology, supported by post-graduate tertiary qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, established customer/industry networks, and demonstrated business development experience.
- Well-developed project management skills, including budget and schedule control.
