Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting participants with high complex behavior and/or high medical and/or complex needs. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA environment to provide personal care, support with daily living tasks, and assist with goal setting and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to participants with complex care needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
  • Support participants with goal setting and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience
  • Experience working with disability, mental health, high medical needs, aged care, or individual support
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts
  • Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check
  • Current Open Driver's Licence
