Job Title: Senior Program Officer

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead impactful programs that strengthen disaster resilience across NSW. As a key member of the Community Recovery Programs Branch, you will manage and coordinate the development and delivery of complex program initiatives that support state-wide planning, preparedness, response, and recovery.

You will lead research, provide expert advice, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure programs are evidence-based, strategically aligned, and effectively implemented. From preparing high-level reports to driving project milestones, your role will be central to shaping disaster management outcomes.

Key responsibilities include designing and/or coordinating government programs, providing strong project management skills, excellent written communication skills, conducting and applying research, and stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

To be successful in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field, a current unrestricted NSW drivers' licence, and an ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies, and other events.
