Lead Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in the design and delivery of high-voltage substation projects.

  • Develop and implement electrical designs for high-voltage substations, transmission lines, and wind farms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and meet project timelines.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the HV industry.
  • Expertise in substation design, including earthing system designs, EMF and LFI designs, and insulation coordination studies.
  • Hands-on experience with Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies, or Earthing is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of power system studies, including lightning, lighting, short circuit, and load flow.
