Design & Engineering

We have the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines.

We provide detailed engineering studies and technical designs for high-voltage substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, constructible and refined through real-world feedback.

The Opportunity

This role involves delivering high-voltage substation projects that support the growth of Australia's renewable energy and utility sectors.

You will contribute to the successful execution of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality, technically sound primary electrical designs from concept through to construction support.

Skillset Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry
  • Expertise in substation design and engineering
  • Hands-on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies or Earthing
  • Power system study experience including lightning, lighting, short circuit, load flow etc
