We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and develop skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the swim school team in teaching swimming and water safety skills to children, as well as providing administrative and customer service support. This is a temporary full-time or part-time position, with a 12-24 month term.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the swim school team in teaching swimming and water safety skills to children
- Provide administrative and customer service support
- Develop skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
School leavers: OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8Non-school leavers: C Grades in Year 10 English and Maths or a completion of a Certificate II in a related disciplineCompetent and strong swimmer with the ability to pass at a Bronze Medallion levelReasonable level of fitnessCurrent C class national driver's licence or progress towardsConfident and professional communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to motivate and work with a diverse range of people including children and adultsExcellent presentationTeam player and ability to work well individuallyExcellent time management skills, organised and able to prioritise tasks effectivelyAble to follow instructionsDemonstrated competence in the use of computers including Windows-based software and Microsoft Office PackagesReliable and self-motivatedWhat We OfferWe offer a range of benefits, including:
